Occitane (aka Ollie) was bred to two frozen semen. Tiamo and Rebelle. She delivered 12 puppies. 11 from Rebelle and 1 from Tiamo. Soleil was our lime collar puppy. Beautiful, with strong body and head, I could not stop looking at her. Her confident and full of sunshine personality made the choice final. And Soleil has not disappointed us. She is ultimately smart, always on the go, curious and obsessed with fetching balls. She has kept her beautiful body and silhouette through her development and hit the show ring at the US National. For her first ever show, she went RWB from the bred by puppy class for her first major. At a puppy match, she went Best Puppy in Match. She then went on to a few shows and finished her AKC championship with 5 majors at 13 months of age! We took a road trip to Canada to visit her grand uncle Teddy and her sister Ula and participated in a dog show there where she obtained her first Canadian points by win a group 4 in the regular herding group and won back to back Best Puppy in Group. Soleil has the beautiful and consistent “Fairytale” silhouette, with a perfect head, with great ear placement, long and strong neck, compact style and of course a correct coat. She is easy on her feet and carries herself proudly as she moves. As they say, the future is looking bright!

We also kept sister Manhattan (Fairytale’s Upper Manhattan) from the same litter to see how the two young girls would develop before we firm up our choice. Manhattan followed right in the foot steps of her sister and obtained her Championship with 4 majors, at the age of 14.5 months. Manhattan, also black born, started turning gray very early on and we suspect she will be a grayer adult than her sister Soleil. Manhattan is an avid worker and at the BCA National she obtained her first leg of Rally Novice.
